Gabe was Santa at the Barton kids Christmas party yesterday. But that still didn’t help Owen who cried when put on his lap. At least we got some cool toys out of the deal.

Owen is a fantastic big brother and loves to play with his little brother Andy! He is almost 4 years old and is VERY excited about his upcoming birthday (even though it is still more than 2 months away)! He is a fantastic kid who is (almost ) a great helper around the house and with his little brother. Owen is learning to write right now, and although he is terribly smart, he is DEFINITELY a first-born perfectionist!!
Things Owen likes these days...
- playing with play-doh, lego's, and building blocks
- wrestling with Andy, and teaching him new things
- getting new books from the library
- "Word Girl" and "Madagascar 2"
- no food (he's not on a hunger strike, but eating takes too much time away prom playing, I guess)
- coloring and doing craft projects
- dressing up in costumes
- going to Grandma' and Grandpa's house

poor Owen. He didn't even recognize Gabe's voice or was he too upset to notice it was his daddy?
Owen could have Gerontophobia which is a fear of old people...or it could just be Claus-trophobia! Geddit? OK...I'll get my coat...
