My first visit with Santa

Owen didn't know what I was doing today when I put him on the lap of a dressed-up, bearded Man. I guess I can't blame him for crying. We tried three times, but this was the best photo by far.

Hmmm...
Santa doesn't look too thrilled either. You should send this in to Ellen! :) Poor kid.

LOL! I'd love to see what he thinks of this photo when he's older!

I don't imagine any of us would be too keen if we were asked to sit on the knee of an old, bearded, overweight stranger dressed in fur. And to top it off we wouldn't be allowed to forget this event because someone will be snapping pics :-|

Even with the scared/cranky face he's still cute
Why does Owen have a shirt with the inital "N"? Curious. Is he leading a double life (sorry I just saw Casino Royal- purrr)

We went a few days ago too and Joshua refused to get on Santa's lap ... he wouldn't even sit on my lap neside Santa (I had just been discharged fomo the hospital and was in no condition to actually be seen in the photo anyway). So, ours is a picture with James and no Joshua.

Don't worry Owen, Santa is pretty scary!!

(My Aunt tried to tell Joshua that Santa was coming soon and you should have seen the terror on his face as he looked around the room for 'Santa'. *L*)

That picture rocks.

The N is for Nevada - the brand of t-shirt he is wearing. They sell it at Sears. I just love little boys Nevada clothes.

THAT IS GREAT!!! i wouldn't trust that guy if i were Owen's age.

the first time i remember sitting with Santa i must have been about 6 and i told him a dirty joke (dirty for a 6 year old...it involved cow poo). my dad was horrified. i remember him standing off to the side covering his face and shaking his head...but i couldn't figure out what i had done wrong!

Muryn your Dad wasn't shaling his head in shame- he was probaly trying to contain his laughter at his "little miss potty mouth"
