#3 is here!

Can you see it? Ok, I can't even see it here, but I promise it's there. Owen's third tooth is in and it must have come in full force because I swear it wasn't there a week ago, and now it's half way through.

Look at how big my gorgeous boy is getting!

He is sure getting so big. How is he doing with the whole teething thing? Was it as bad this time? William has 2 teeth now, they came in one right after the other. He was grumpy for a few days right before it actually popped out, then all of a sudden there were two.

Owen had a really bad week with this tooth. His cheeks were bright pink and the skin on them seemed scratched. He didn't eat or sleep mich, he was cranky, seemed warm to the touch (but didn;t have a fever), and his stool was loose. That lasted about a week until it popped through, and now he's back to normal.

I think tooth #4 may be coming through now though. He had a rough day yesterday, and had his mouth closed all day, whining in pain. Plus he missed both his naps, wouldn't eat dinner and couldn;t go to sleeep for 2 hours after his normal bedtime. He is better this morning, but I think I felt the corner of the top middle tooth poking through beside the other recent top tooth. So maybe it's been especially bad becasue the two of them are coming in together.

Tooth # 4 is here too! My oh my! That explains a lot of the crankiness now!

I heard they come in pairs! (Tho not QUITE so soon after each other!)

I'm starting to wonder if the top teeth are Keira's problem too...she is has been having some real stroppy moments for about a week now, and has had some runny poos for the past few days, which is not at all like her usual diapers. She's also waking up a lot in the night...did Owen at all?

OOooo...by the way. Thanks for the tip about pushing the bedtime earlier. We started putting her down at 7-7.30pm instead of 8pm and for the first 2 nights it worked - uninterrupted sleep til 7am! However, we are now back to the wakings-up...which is saying to me "teeth". She is still going off to sleep easily at 7-ish tho!

Yup, I'd guess she's teething. Owen still wakes up in the night if he is sick or teething. They just get all out of whack during those times.
