Owen is a fantastic big brother and loves to play with his little brother Andy! He is almost 4 years old and is VERY excited about his upcoming birthday (even though it is still more than 2 months away)! He is a fantastic kid who is (almost ) a great helper around the house and with his little brother. Owen is learning to write right now, and although he is terribly smart, he is DEFINITELY a first-born perfectionist!!

Poor Owen! Kae isn't feeling the best these days either she's really stuffed up. What are you giving him for it?
She was up twice screaming last night and all I had in the house was Tylenol so that's what I gave her.
We bought him Tylenol Cold and a nasal spray. He hates taking both of them, but I think they may be helping. He is grumpy but not angry at least. And he sleeps a lot because of the medication.
Oh no! Feel better soon, little man!!
I think Owen is feeling a little better. He is still a little sniffly, has a bit of a runny nose, and coughs every once in a while, but he is much more his happy self today.
We went to Circuit Fit for the first time today and he was great with the lady in the play room there. And then we had a short photo shoot when we got home, an hour nap, and then Owen watched a few videos while I made lunch. He loves his Fisher Price “Musical Baby” and a new DVD Papa bought for him a few days ago. It is a Baby Einstein video called “Words around the House”. It teaches babies sign language. It has puppets like the Fisher Price video. Owen loves puppets. And then Owen and I watched Blues Clues together. He is very cuddly when he is sick. He just sits on my lap, holds my fingers, sucks his soother, and watches the TV. We don’t do this often, but when he isn’t feeling good, it’s a great way to keep him happy without going crazy myself.
Awww.... we hope he gets feeling better!
Love,
The Godparents.
I always thought I wouldn't let my children watch tv until they were older but when they're sick there's nothing else they want to do! So I figure, whatever keeps them happy! :P
Enjoy those sick cuddles, Mama! :)
I'm starting to go a little crazy. Owen has cried for about 3 hours straight now. He hasn't slept since noon, so he must be tired. He's fed, he's clean, he's warm, but he is miserable. He is full of medicine, so I can't give him anymore. He doesn't want to be held, but he doesn't want to be sitting, standing, or in anything. He is just very cranky! My poor sick boy. I wonder if he has an ear infection now. I will bring him to the Doctor tomorrow.
Poor Owen. I took Kae to the Dr. today, she's got a chest infection and an ear infection. I got her penicillin for the first time today.
Hope Owen feels better soon. Try not to lose your sanity with all that crying.
big kisses and "get well hugs" to Owen and Kae from me and mummy. xxx
