This is where we have lessons. The section we swim in is the far area near the tug boat thing. Can you see the slide we went on?
Owen is a fantastic big brother and loves to play with his little brother Andy! He is almost 4 years old and is VERY excited about his upcoming birthday (even though it is still more than 2 months away)! He is a fantastic kid who is (almost ) a great helper around the house and with his little brother. Owen is learning to write right now, and although he is terribly smart, he is DEFINITELY a first-born perfectionist!!

That pool looks like so much fun!
FYI:
Joshua just started wanting to go down the waterslide and attempting to float on his back (at over 14 months and only in his life jacket). Do they really want babies to try that already, in lessons? Maybe we're behind already ... we've never been to one.
Well, I never let go of him. We went down the waterslides together, and when he goes on his back I put his head on my chest, and hold him under teh bunm area to help him to kick his feet. That way his head is totally supported, so he feels safe, but he gets the feeling of floating on his back.
This calss isn;t really to teach them how to swim, but to get them familiar with being in the water, and to help them feel safe while swimming. We also start the class off every day with them sittting or standing on a wall. And we say "Ready, swim!" and then they jump (or fall) in the pool, and we catch them. This is supposed to stop them from running and jumping in thelmselves at a home pool or anywhere else. This is supposed to help copntrol when they feel "allowed" to go into water. I'm, not sure if it will work or not, but we'll see.
Nice looking pool, looks like lots of fun. I don't think I would like the slide either if that happend to me.
